Our Story

We're a whānau-owned and female-led flooring company based in the Far North. With decades of experience behind us and a future-focused mindset, we combine quality craftsmanship with planning that starts well before the job begins.

We didn’t just take over a flooring business — we inherited a legacy.

This poem captures who we are, where we come from, and where we’re headed.

Laying the Future

We walked on floors laid long ago,
With stories deep in every row.
Each papa tells of mahi done,
By hands of pāpā, under the sun.

He passed it down, not just for pay,
But to keep the whānau on its way.
Not just a trade, but pride, but care—
A legacy that lingers here.

Cassandra rose, she found her stride,
With bookings made and plans applied.
She leads the crew, keeps jobs on track,
While I held space, kept vision clear.

She holds the now, I shape the aim,
We learn each day, pushing past the fear.
One eye ahead, one eye on before—
Ka mua, ka muri, together we steer.

The gaps we saw weren’t in supply,
But in the kōrero, running dry.
So we brought it left, prepped strong and free,
Tūwhitia te hopo — courage is key.

In Te Tai Tokerau, winds blow wide,
But still we stand, with roots inside.
Our kaupapa more than floors and nails—
It’s futures carved in hardwood trails.

From carpet rolls to concrete mix,
From sticky glue to clever tricks.
With every tool, with every sweep,
We sow the things we want to keep.

Not just a job, not just some pay—
It’s whakapapa laid each day.
A blend of old and new in sync,
With whānau in the missing link.

So here we are, still laying low,
But building up with steady flow.
A female-led, fierce kind of crew—
With dreams to chase and work to do.

Hā ki roto, hā ki waho,
Breath to ground us as we grow.
Mauri tū, mauri ora
Life-force strong, watch us flow.
